The Bethel high school in Bielefeld has a climate working group that is organizing events for schools within and outside of Germany to connect. The film was made as part of the project Three Presidencies for Climate – Think European Act Local (Three4Climate) for a virtual study tour to Bielefeld and Radolfzell in Germany. Participating municipalities were invited to learn and exchange about climate action projects “on-site”. Three4Climate aims to foster multi-level collaboration for climate action in the countries of the current trio presidency Germany, Portugal and Slovenia. It is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). It is the overarching goal of the EUKI to foster climate cooperation within the European Union (EU) in order to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
